Ever been paranoid for no reason....
The other day I took a trip to Fresno, after coming back (4 hours drive) I sat down to smoke some hash and get some rest..I hear a knock at the door. At this point I am high, and wondering who could be at the door since no one knows where I live.
naturally I check the peep hole and see a police officer at the door?
WHAT THE FUCK...
So i retreat to my bedroom remaining queit, and think over the things that could cause the police to now be at my door. These arent friendly knocks either, these are the" OPEN THE DOOR ITS THE POLICE" knocks..now Im scared as hell, thinking of everything that could possibly send me to jail..minute by minute it gets worse. The cop is banging on the door, but then he stops. I check again and he's just standing there waiting..taking notes on a clip board.
So now I decide to pretend Im not home, stay quiet and dont move...hopefully this will go away.By now im thinking of things like bail money, lawyers, prison/jail, changing my life, no more smoking weed...etc. Praying is now happening..im checking windows and swearing I see people trying to peek in. FUUUUUCK!!!!
So, 3 hours i lay in bed, ready to accept the fate for the way I live, coming up with my defense, Im close to flushing my weed down the toilet and just accepting the fact I am getting arrested, raided, sent to jail....etc.
After 3 hours of deep thoughts..I finally get out of bed and decide Im tired of living like this, ready to change my life and accept my fate.
I open the door ready to be handcuffed, and nobody is there.
I left my keys in the door..
the cops were trying to get me to open the door so they could tell me this...the reason the cops stayed there was to make sure nobody was able to get in and rob the place. i just spent 3 hours shitting my pants thinking im going to jail, and the cops were simply trying to protect and serve...ME.
I am such a fucking idiot....after that I needed a good stiff drink and a smoke.
What a fuckin night.
